HS2 between London and the West Midlands is still being built. In May 2026 the government said the first trains between Old Oak Common and Birmingham Curzon Street are now expected between 2036 and 2039. That means years more construction for many homes, farms and businesses along the route – and then the railway itself.
Trees planted this season will be well established long before the first train runs. Plant semi-mature stock and you get immediate screening cover during the building works; plant smaller trees costing less upfront and they grow into the job alongside the works and are ready intime for the first train.
We're based in Byfield, Northamptonshire and deliver along the route in Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Hide the works, not your view
Choose trees by the height of what you want to block – a haul road, a compound, a viaduct, a fence line. Tell us the height and distance and we'll suggest a size that screens now.
Softer noise and dust
A deep belt of dense trees filters dust and softens how construction noise is heard. It won't silence a railway, but it makes a boundary feel calmer and more private.
Roots that take hold fast
Air-Pot® containers prune roots with air, giving a fibrous root ball that settles in quickly. That matters on disturbed ground near construction, where trees need to establish without fuss.
